I received my 1/2 meter Wireworld Platinum USB cable earlier this evening. It is now installed in place of the stock USB cable supplied with the Wyred 4 Sound Recovery. With less than a hour on the new Platinum USB cable I can already notice an additional improvement in the definition of each and every sound. Listening to Louise Rogers "Ain't Misbehavin'" from the 24/192 download of the recording Black Coffee, it sounds spectacular, earthy, breathy, rich in texture, a live sounding performance that has the musicians and Louise in the room. Simply amazing.

Music Direct let me know yesterday that my iFi iPower 9 volt power supply has shipped so that will be the final piece of the Recovery puzzle. I am definitely hearing improved resolution with the addition of the WW Platinum USB cable. I expect things to improve even further as the 1/2 meter Platinum USB cable burns in. It will be interesting to find out what the iFi 9 volt power supply has to offer. Actually, I am quite thrilled with what I am hearing right now. The presentation captures your complete attention. Astonishing, really. In my opinion the Wyred 4 Sound Recovery is a must have device for your digital USB playback. Thanks to member Randy Meyers for bringing this unique audio component to our attention.
