The problem is that these measuring systems and using gating techniques etc. are fine for nearfield direct on and off axis measurements but they can not measure the reflected energy with anywhere near he same accuracy as an anechoic chamber.
And the number of measurements necessary to fully understand the sound power and the adjustments needed to be made can be overwhelming.
