Thanks for the support from everyone. I work in Greenland and cannot receive texts from my current service provider. I played it fast and loose on the phone when traveling, which was very dumb. I got taken for some cash, but it is disputed and I should see it taken care of. In the meantime, I plan on being very careful, changing providers when home, and beefing up my knowledge of phone security.
