I have been auditioning a pair of Ethos myself at the local dealer. I know what you are saying about them being revealing of poor recordings, and that does concern me a bit. Unfortunately much of the word's greatest music hasn't been recorded to audiophile standards. Anyone else experience this with Martin Logans? I use tubes and mainly listen to vinyl,, which is somewhat forgiving of course and that would help. What is the rest of your system Skipper2101?
