My personal preference with any Wilson speakers is a high quality tube amp. I've got WP7s now and the Sashas are on the way. But I must admit I've only heard them with Ayre and Boulder monos. As was said in an earlier post, they do seem to take the sound of the amp, that may be your best reference. I guess the search is the fun and you've certainly done that.
