Philip - just FYI, I bought Lamm 1.2R based on all the internet hype and some CES auditioning, and after bringing them home ... I quickly sold them. They just didn't do it for me. At the time I have had BAT 150SE moos and some SET amps, and those amps were much better in all important midrange for me.
Just a thing to consider when buying stuff you cannot try.
