my bad. the highest freq of the file is 2.6 kHz.
of course the filter is not a brick wall (it is just a single expensive mundorf capacitor
), but having the comparison with the other matched speaker and some others 3 way ... there is nothing coming to their tweeters.
And even if it is ok such frequencies to come to the tweeter the sound produced is far away from normal. With music it feels like some distorted echo, which is not apparent for every ear
and not very easy to describe, but with the proper test track it is right in the nose.
Anyway the ball is back to B&W tech.
