Myself, knowing the Montis well, I can assure you there is nothing wrong with it's piano reproduction, with that being said 'your' speakers could have issues.

Your amplifier could be the culprit, from what I understand it combines both Class A and D into it's topology along with a digital conversion of all inputs .....correct ? Given Logans known capacitence challenges to amplifiers and cabling this could be an issue ??
