Default 'Tis a sad day..

Yes indeed, today is a sad day; I've decided to retire from the live concert scene. 7-800 bands live is enough in anyone's lifetime- the drudgery, the sleaze, standing up for hours at an end, working with pd's all over the shop, it's come to an end. I'm not showing up for a 12 hour music festival today, and that's that.

It filled a niche for awhile, I've sesn nearly every band under the sun, and i've got a roseate of rockin' memories, and it's got me from blue collar to white collar status. I'm very grateful. 'Tis the seven year itch.

If me white collar get's dirtied in the rain, I think I'll switch to theatre work.

A profound thank you to each and every band. The White Stripes stand out, and I was 4ft from Stevie Nicks at a Mac gig, though I was on a break when she sang Sarah. Never mind.
