I am not an electricity expert.

Since I had a buzz in my unit for years I supplied you a suggestion on what was an easy inexpensive fix for me. It is not my understanding that a DC Eliminator masks a transformer problem. Do you know exactly what DC offset is on the power line?

Maybe it might not help you.
