New 12TC arrived Wednesday. I need more time to assess than the 40 minutes I got Wednesday, but early indication is that this is a positive move. The frequency balance was better using the 4-ohm taps only, rather than using separate taps for bass and mids/highs. The new cable needs to break in I guess, so I will take things more seriously after another 10 hours or so more.
