So I finally got DVD-AE and it worked great on my DVD-A discs and DVD video dics. I got the Blu-ray error that it can't read BD+ disc and you need either AnyDVD or MAKEMKV to remove the protection so I'll be doing that really soon.

So with respect to CloneBD, would that only be needed/recommended if one was to customize what they really want to rip and keep? If the intent was to take a 1:1 copy of every DVD and Blu-ray would AnyDVD HD by itself do the job?

If ripping and customizing both DVD and Blu-rays do you need both CloneBD and CloneDVD or can CloneBD also rip DVD's thus you only need CloneBD?

Finally what's typically the better format to rip movies to for better compatibility, ISO files or the folder/file structure?

Thanks
