Mike, I really like the look of the cherry too.The oak, grain is very prominent and gives a great contrast in color. I think I am going to give them a light scuff and then give them a couple coats of gloss urethane. After seeing how beautiful some of the high end speaker finishes are I have to give it a try.[emoji106]
