Whether or not you liked and appreciated Bose products, The man and his company did more to deliver quality sound to the "masses"
than any other brand you can name. I suspect everyone here has owned and listened to Bose speakers in one form or another.
A number of us (me included) owned Bose 901's at some point in our audio journeys. Most of us have owned automobiles
featuring Bose sound systems, I own a Bose Acoustic Wave system for portable use and it sounds infinitely better than
any "boom box" ever made. Each of us has benefitted in some way from the genius of Amar Bose.
The man made zillions of dollars from his designs, granted, but in the end, he gave the majority of his company to MIT to further acoustic research.
In my book, the man and his company are OK!
His legacy will live forever. Rest in Peace Amar Bose.
