The MC75 amplifiers are wonderful, but a person still needs to pay attention to speaker efficiency, and particularly speakers with confirmed difficult impedance curves in the lower frequency range. Although the MC75 has essentially twice the power supply capacity either channel of an MC275 has, one needs to couple this amplifier with speakers of relatively high efficiency, somewhere around 86dB and above to enjoy a room filling performance with clean dynamics. 75 watts is a nice power point but it is definitely not able to deliver the dynamic range of a 450 watt per channel amp. My PMC EB1i speakers are relatively easy to drive with an efficiency of 89dB. Two watts with peaks of 10 watts is plenty of volume for me. Just something to keep in mind.
