I have both the 9497 and the Auditorium 23 speaker cables and interchange them every so often.
The 9497 is tremendous bang-for-the-buck wire and I highly recommend it. It is bested by the Auditorium 23 however, but for the money the 9497 is terrific stuff.
I also cook up ICs using Belden 8402 wire (regardless of what anyone tells you this is directional, as is the 9497) and they give the Auditorium ICs some competition but ultimately the 23s win.
