As the others said, stick with the 6700. Don't trade in after just 6 weeks. I bet the 6700 hasn't even been broken in yet. The more you play it, the better it will sound.
Like jDandy advised, spend the money on a nice turntable with a moving coil magnet - you will be pleased.
