I have gone down the power route with my old Evo and R35. Sometimes it's nice to just feel connected to the car - which is something Porsches do. I really really love how the old 987 Boxster S felt. And it was fun even when keeping to highway speeds when I drove it in Singapore.
Over in Australia, the only car that I found was still fun at the draconian speed limits was my old Fiesta ST :P
