I remember that issue very well.
Fortunately, we have Gary Mulder back on the Ayre team, who used to work with Ayre in its early days. Gary may very well have more product knowledge about Ayre gear than anyone else, having been the guy that really trained Charley (and through Charley, myself) how to really listen. We're very excited to have him back on the team and, in the unfortunate circumstance that something may happen to your gear, I'm sure you'll continue to get the same level of service from us that we've always strived to have for our fans.
