Several months later with my MR74 in storage, I'm enjoying the MR88 a great deal. My primary FM listening is one of the nearly out of reach college stations I mentioned in an earlier post and the MR88 does a fantastic job picking it up with minimal noise. I'm still doing a lot of XM listening as well, despite the rather low bit-rate of many stations. That all said, there are still things I miss about the MR74. They both have their pluses and minuses, like most things in life. That's part of the fun of the hobby. Some day the MR74 will be in a vintage system along with my Dual 1019 and collection of 78s.
