I'm one of the few that never gave up on vinyl. What I've found to be incredibly rewarding is to determine which format does a given album the best justice. For example, I bought all the Jimi Hendrix original remasters immediately after Experience Hendrix put them out in the '90s. This is how you listen to Jimi! OTOH, if you asked me to play Dark Side of the Moon for you, it would be via the MFSL CD - the original pressed LP being a close 2nd. ELP - Brain Salad Surgery? I like the DVD-A.

There are some records that really showcase the vinyl format - the Sheffield Lab D2D stuff for example, my fave being the Tower of Power Direct. Norah Jones first record on Classic Vinyl - sublime. Plenty of awesome new stuff to pick from as well. The QRP reissues of the first 4 Black Sabbath albums - just WOW! Mark Knopfler's recent stuff, the Fleetwood Mac and Peter Gabriel 45rpm reissues, etc. So much GREAT stuff to choose from.

Have fun!
