Just a brief update in case you guys don't follow Schiit too closely. The Bifrost has been totally changed: low price for the delta-sigma version for starters.
But the big news is the new multi-bit version, known affectionately as the "Bimby". Think old-school Theta R2R DAC, by the guy (Mike Moffat) who designed the Theta DACs.
I don't have one yet, and will probably get the multi-bit Gungnir for a balanced out to my Cavali Liquid Carbon, which I'll have around December.
