That is very nice, but also very different, compared to my No.383, below. One big reason so many new integrated amps fail (not literally, but are not what I want) IMHO, is they include (as do the latest from ML) an inboard DAC and/or phono-stage, which I do not want. The No.383 is an integrated amp. No unwanted DAC.
After an hour of serious listening I can hear what all the ML hoopla might be about. Great balance from bottom to top with excellent detail. The detail comes without grain or blare, which I will describe as being very "lyrical" (lots of PRaT), for lack of a better term. Will report more after a longer listening session with various genre of music. One physical attribute I really appreciate are the speaker terminals. While a bit 'crowded' back there since I'm running two sets of speaker cables (a true bi-wire), the ability to tighten by hand makes fitting everything together very convenient.
Almost forgot the downside..................... manouvering a 65# piece of gear down the stairs and onto the shelf by oneself. Slow and easy does it.
