if speakers are good, sound will still be good.... but you just don't know it can be significantly better
See my answer to Clee on what I would do in your case. A single SMT wing diffuser on the point of first reflection is all you need (do like me, take the one which is on small wheels, so that you can move it aside when you don't want it in the way)
