I was also interested in this and had a look around.

Found they had at least these patents and maybe more. I have also included a quick a dirty summary of each patents use IMHO to give a feeling for where their technology R&D is focused. I think most of them are translated from Japanese and thus not exactly easily decipherable.

JP 2003-124812 - Trellis Type Noise Shaping Modulator (Basically a network of modulators to improve S/N ratio )

JP 2000-354300 - Multi channel audio device (For a specific type of room correction)

JP 2004-104269 - Signal switch and variable gain amplifier provided with the same (Very low noise switching and volume control)

JP2000-184500 - Audio power amplifier (A Very specific type of negative feedback with exceptionally low distortion)

JP 2000-230841 - Optical encoder (A method for reducing the number of optical lenses in a laser encoder - read disc player)

JP2000-252664 - Printed wiring board (Lower impedance and better thermal stability in amplification circuits)

JP2003-091428 - Electronic equipment provided with program updating function, and program updating system for the electronic equipment (I think updating a device using voice data?)

JP 2003-348492 - Door opening/closing apparatus for audio/video apparatus (Looks like a really cool mechanism for disc trays)

11 more to go...
