I have seen a Bose demo once. At the end of the clip, they removed large dummy speakers to reveal speakers about the size of 2" cubes and you were supposed to be amazed at the true size of the speaker. They used a sub and it sounded like small speakers with a sub.
It would be interesting to hear these larger stand mounted speakers.

Bose has some of the best scripted demos ever produced. Relevent? Not usually.
As for the concept, that's from the 60's and it's the marketing foundation on which Bose was built.
