Why even include buttons and "thing-a-ma-bobs" since it is RF controlled? 
A clean, smoothe, faceplate with the matching ring would have been overwhelmingly received by his Momentum clients IMO.

I agree. I am very disappointed with the look of the new pre-amp but I will hold off final judgement until I can see and hear it.
