I had 30 day to try and return if they didn't work. Believe me I would have, im not into wasting money. I have purchased cables that I didn't hear a difference and DID return them. When I compared my $400.00 cables to $2000.00 cables I didn't hear enough difference to justify. I believe sometimes its bragging rights and sometimes you really hear a difference. It depends on YOUR ears. I can only assume Mac ships the standard black power cable to allow the customer to choose which cable work for them. Before you judge, buy some power cables with a 30 day return, try them, then submit your review. I think you'll hear a difference and keep them. Again, I don't understand why, maybe more cleaner power to the amps. OR go to kmart, best buy, whatever, and buy the thinnest speaker wire they have. run that from your amps to your speakers, then buy thicker wire, I'll bet you HEAR a difference.
