Default Bryston engineering

Hello James/Bryston.

I just looked through the Stereophile reviews of some newer amplifier designs (e.g. Hypex as used by several manufacturers), and in particular the measurements section. I appreciate their measurements data, and also understand that that is not always the entire picture.

Nonetheless, it is instructive to look at the square-wave responses and especially the intermodulation peaks of the class-D designs vs the 2010 review of the 7BSST-2 (latest I could find; trying to compare apples to apples so Stereophile tests only).

Congratulations to the Bryston tech team for engineering excellence.
