Kevin Deal with Upscale Audio reached out to me today and made a gesture quite befitting of a dealer who is genuine and at the very least apologetic for what has transpired. He looked back in his notes and saw our first conversation about my initial hum issue. He then suggested trouble-shooting steps to determine if it was a hardware issue. He never got the message about me having to send the unit back. We had a very nice conversation and he is going to have Manley send me a new SE version Chinook plus a pair of Philips PCC88 tubes to cover my initial shipping costs. My issue was never with Upscale Audio but am happy the dealer had stepped fwd to make things good. Also, I know the inside data on the Esteban issue spoken about here. I will do business with Upscale again.
