Racks and setups are interesting because, more than audio gear and speakers and stuff, they reflect not just financial resources but interest, attention, and ingenuity. I am humbled by some of the presentations on this thread.
I submit my gen-1 version of a rack with a 1-day old amp in a rental apartment. We'll move every two years until at least 2020 so it probably won't improve much until then... When we can at least paint the walls and manage the cables!
