The Other Half of "the rest of the story"
Yes, I was there, mostly a shadow, as I had not had that kind of trans-formative experience since I visited Alan Goodwin's place on Newbury Street and experienced his dual Quad array back in the 80's. Aside from Mac, Bryston and VPI, there was nothing that I knew even existed.
So, it took him 30 years, but Curtis finally got his payback. Consider me a born-again. I have to say what many of you know, that Ivan is a great host, the ultimate audio guide and all around good guy. It was a genuine pleasure meeting him. As for his various heavenly systems, well, you'll have to take them in yourself.
Here's my problem. I only live 10 minutes from him and his audio/video nirvana.
