So got my P-02X in the rig now and connected via dual WW Platinum HDMI connectors to take full advantage of P-02X/D-02X combo and all I can say is WOW! It sounds spectacular on SACD as I expected but what I didn’t expect at all was the massive improvement in Redbook performance. Like the Dac ... the transport benefits from upgraded power cord and feet. Now I know I need to let the unit break in but even after just getting warmed up I was blown away with the openness, clarity, huge soundstage and actually how smooth the combo is. I’m sure a G-01X will make it even better but I’ll have to save that for a bit. I can’t wait to hear what changes with break in on the transport. I would have thought not that much but I’m hearing it will get better for sure with some time. Since I’m thrilled already any improvement now is simply a bonus. Happy listening everyone!
