Marsalis, As I understand it, the "several parts" weigh an
additional hundred pounds per speaker. The M9 itself weights 1,000 lbs. I would be more impressed with the M9's claimed weight savings if, due to the new cabinet technology, the weight had been kept to 750 lbs, same as the all aluminum Q7. This 1000 lbs does not even include the woofer to mid bass crossover.
