then you and I are the same age, '60 was the first series that forever remains in my memory. Growing up in Buffalo I was both a Yankees and Pirates fan so i was 'torn' between the two.

While many, or most, consider Bobby Thompson's home run the greatest of all time (two primary reasons ......Dodgers vs Giants and the ball was never found) but to me it was clearly Maz's home run in the '60 World Series .......bottom of the ninth, game seven, a walk off to win the series. The one and only time. I was a kid in second grade with a seven transistor radio and ear piece....... World Series day game ........as God intended !
