I just ordered a pair of Olympica II's and am curious what people have had the best experience with driving Sonus Faber.
Currently have a ARC Ref 110 and want to find out if most folks that own Sonus Faber have found that tubes or solid state are best to drive them?
I contacted Sumiko and asked the minimum impedance for the Olympica II but they could only tell me the nominal rating (4 ohm). My current amp tends to sound best on the 8ohm tap and not knowing how low the impedance swing is, makes me wonder if this amp is the best fit for this speaker...? My pre is the ARC Ref 3.
