Once the files are ripped and you playback via software like JRiver or a hardware platform like Dune or Zidoo are you getting all of the menus, bonus features, etc, essentially a 1:1 copy of the DVD or Blu-ray? So when playing back the experience would be no different than if you loaded the actual disc into your player?

It can be a 1:1 when using AnyDVD HD to rip or you can trim the extras off when using CloneBD. My copies are in the Blu-ray file structure, I usually get rid of the extras. BTW I have over 26 Terabytes of uncompressed Blu-rays on my NAS. I don't use the menus, when I select a movie in JRiver it automatically starts playing the movie itself with the correct audio format. I believe JRiver and Redfox products do support menus.
