I have a 4" Mapleshade in Cherry that is effective and purty but I can't imagine that it's any better than a Boos block (which I have in the Kitchen for chopping). I represented the John Boos Company 20 years ago in a financing transaction in Chicago and they were terrific folks. Who knew we'd someday be using their products for turntable isolation platforms?
