Omerta.......Figuring all three Evo amplifiers drawing 70 watts each in standby, that's approximately 180 kilowatt hours of power per year. In my area electrical power is costing $0.10 per kilowatt hour, so those three amps idling 24 hours a day, seven days a week would add $180.00 per year to my electric bill. Retrofitting three Evo amps at $2500 each to reduce idle watts, not counting the 17 watts each amp will draw with the new circuit, it would take you 41 years to recover the upgrade cost in energy savings. Hmm, doesn't appear to be a sound idea.
