My d1100 came in today! So awesome...just starting to get things hooked up and play around. One question...
So, obviously I have the d1100 integrated with the c1100 via the DIN connection, and all that is working great. I am using fixed output XLR from the d1100 --> c1100.
I am wondering if there is a way to get the d1100 meters "in sync" so to speak. When in DAC mode, the d1100 meters operate in fixed output mode, which makes sense, but basically this means they are usually pegged pretty well to the right. You don't get the nice dynamic bouncing around effect. I think this is normal, but I just wanted to check to see if anybody could elaborate.
I also noticed when I power on the c1100, it takes a moment or two for the d1100 meters to come on. Is that normal?
