I agree that would be ideal, but looking into the cost of replacement I think I'd rather replace the surround (if i can find a surround that fits) professionally, it'll cost under $100. If it solved the issue i am a happy chap, but if its change the character of sound, I'll buy the pair of the mid woofer and replace it, and at least I still have a pair of mid woofer that works after the surround repaired.
I view through the speaker, the size and the surround rubber seems to be a fit into Scanspeak Revelator 15W, and the issue still around I can't find the surround rubber for 15W, most are meant for the 18W series.
