Dan, yes I made it to Thursdays event which was the first of this two day event. I posted some thoughts on the new pre in another thread.

As I stated in that thread there was excellent synergy between the mono blocks and his new linestage. Dan D'Agostino noted that he had built something into the mono blocks and into the new pre that when connected made them very, very quiet. You could put your ear to the tweeter of the Alexia's and hear absolute silence.
There will still be those who question the industrial design of the new pre amp. I found it to be much nicer looking in person just as I had with the mono blocks. I just do not know whether I am willing to pay a +$30k tariff for any pre-amp.
