Great reviews. Image quality being one important aspect, I am also very interested knowing the improvements the Venom HDMI could bring on the audio side. With my Bryston BDA-3 DAC, I am using the HDMI inputs for my cable STB and blu-ray player. The sound portion is "extracted" from the HDMI cable and processed thru the DAC, while the video signal is passed thru. Right now I am using generic HDMI cables and I wish to improve things up a bit. The Venom HDMI is now 50$ since a while so that makes it a no-brainer.
