For sale is my McIntosh C15 stereo preamplifier complete with the original power cord, original owner’s manual, original remote control, and original shipping carton. I purchased this used from the original owner who had it stored and unused for many years. According to the owner, a few months after purchasing the C15 he decided he wanted a surround sound system instead and removed it from his system. He figured he would build a second system with the C15 but never got around to it. I always take a story like that with a grain of salt, but when I went to look at it, it was absolutely mint without a mark on it. The remote even still had the plastic protective film on it because he told me he never used it.

That was three years ago and I have been using the C15 in my two channel system ever since without any issue. The remote rarely gets used and basically sits in a drawer but I did remove the protective film. To be as forthcoming as possible, there will be slight signs of use on both the preamp and remote but this is if I'm being very picky. Because of this, I tried to photograph them as best I could, it's hard to with the glare that always appears on the glass and the remote face.

This is a very clean sounding preamp and has the nice feature of a loud switch to compensate for bass when listening at lower volumes. It also has an MM phono input in case you have a turntable.
