I'm fairly new to the Audioaficionado forum. I have been a member the AVS Forums since 2002, and, have built my system based on what I learned from the other forum members.

That being said; I am a huge fan of Aerial speakers. I own three LR5's that I use for L/C/R. However, I purchased a Seaton Submersive subwoofer.

I originally wanted an AA SW-12, but, I could not see how its single 12" ported driver and 400 watt amp could compete against the dual sealed 15's and 1,000 watt amp in the submersive. I must admit that I never had the opportunity to hear the SW-12; I purchased the submersive based on the specs above and comments of others on the AVS forum.

Has anyone here compared the Seaton Submersive to the Aerial SW-12? I can't help but wonder if I made a mistake in my selection of the submersive. It is easy to get caught up in the opinions at AVS.

Thanks,
David
