As a current owner of the Sashas (version 1), I can't imagine there would be much maintenance cost for the speaker even 5-10 years down the road. Prior Watt/Puppy versions had problems with the foam diffraction pads breaking down. I believe this has been remedied with the newer (e.g. Sasha) models. The two speakers you're considering are quite a bit different. IMO, the overall performance of the Sasha is better than the Sabrinas especially in the bottom end. The Sashas may overwhelm a smaller room. I'm surprise that the Sashas v1 (used) you're considering would cost $1000 more than new Sabrinas. The Sasha v2 may be more than new Sabrinas. I see Sashas v1 going for much less than Sabrinas on the used market. Either way, you can't go wrong with Wilsons.
