There is no issue running those kt88s with a 5y3. Since it has a significant voltage drop it will effect the sound by supplying less voltage to the pentodes. Less power but also a change in the sound. Now if you are running 6v6/6v6g (not 6v6gt) or 6f6/6f6g you need to provide those with reduced voltage by using a 5y3. Otherwise, including the 6v6 gt, mix and match to find the best sound. “Have at it” as DH would say.
