Another Klipschorn buddy did the extreme slope crossover, I did not hear it, but he claims he can never get the sound he had with the stock crossover (and my Klipschorns-I bought my pair from him)
I have also read about users using PureMusic, 8 channel DACs and 6 channels of amplification with two left for subs, using the software crossover and slopes. Me- I am not smart enough to out do what Paul Klipsch created. I am considering replacing the crossovers with some ALK OEM replacements, but at $600 a shot it better make a real difference.
