Taking your time is a very sage way to go on this. Hurrying can result in a sad outcome (broken cantilever, etc.). Not a difficult thing. Just sit down and work slowly. Good luck with all.
If you haven't purchased an RCM (record cleaning machine), this is about the most effective/least expensive way to start. Not a VPI 16.5 or better, but does a creditable job for the $$.
