I compared this to a combination of a Nordost Frey 2 power with the Nordost QBase 4 MK1. The latter made an astonishing improvement in dynamic range and the 3D nature of the sound. I also use Shunyata Sigma XLR interconnects.
I think that systems are different and there may not be a perfect solution, but I was quite stunned to find that AC power cords could make such a substantial improvement in sound quality.

Its because they prevent stray electromagnetic radiation/noise/grunge/RF hash that all your components produce (and which surrounds each component) from going straight into the power cord powering the component, only to be amplified as noise.
